At TrueLearning, we are committed to providing high-quality educational services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds of course fees and other services. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

By purchasing any course or service from TrueLearning, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Refund Eligibility Period

We offer refunds based on the following timelines from the date of purchase:

  • 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: For most courses, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if less than 20% of the course content has been accessed.
  • 14-Day Trial Period: For annual subscriptions, you may request a full refund within 14 days if you have accessed less than 10% of available content.
  • Live Classes: Refund requests for live class packages must be made before the second scheduled live session begins.

After these periods, refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to partial refund or credit towards another course.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are non-refundable:

  • Courses where more than 20% of the content has been accessed
  • One-on-one mentoring sessions that have already been conducted
  • Physical study materials that have been shipped
  • Promotional or discounted courses purchased during special sales (unless otherwise stated)
  • Course completion certificates and exam fees
  • Third-party services or products
  • Downloadable resources that have been accessed or downloaded

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at refunds@truelearning.com within the eligible refund period
  2. Include your order number, purchase date, and reason for the refund request
  3. Provide any relevant documentation or screenshots if applicable
  4. Our team will review your request within 5-7 business days
  5. You will receive an email notification regarding the status of your refund request

Please note that incomplete or unclear refund requests may take longer to process.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and will appear in your account within 5-7 business days thereafter, depending on your bank's processing time.
  • Net Banking/UPI: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
  • Digital Wallets: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
  • EMI Payments: Refunds for EMI purchases will be processed according to the terms of your payment provider and may take 15-20 business days.

You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed. If you do not receive your refund within the stated timeframe, please contact your bank or payment provider first, then contact our support team.

6. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted:

  • If you have accessed between 20% and 50% of course content within the refund eligibility period, you may be eligible for a 50% refund
  • For bundled courses where only some courses have been accessed
  • For long-duration courses (6 months or more) where you wish to discontinue after the initial month
  • Technical issues or course quality concerns that are verified by our team

All partial refund requests will be evaluated individually, and the final decision rests with TrueLearning management.

7. Course Transfer and Credit

As an alternative to refunds, we offer the following options:

  • Course Transfer: You may transfer your enrollment to another course of equal or lesser value within 30 days of purchase
  • Account Credit: Receive the refund amount as account credit to be used for any future TrueLearning course or service
  • Extension: For time-bound courses, we may offer a one-time extension of access period instead of a refund

These alternatives are subject to approval and must be requested through our support team.

8. Technical Issues

If you experience technical difficulties preventing you from accessing course content:

  • Contact our technical support team immediately at support@truelearning.com
  • Provide detailed information about the issue including screenshots or error messages
  • Our team will work to resolve the issue within 48 hours
  • If the issue cannot be resolved, you may be eligible for a full refund or extension of access period

Technical issues must be reported within 7 days of experiencing the problem to be eligible for refund consideration.

9. Course Cancellation by TrueLearning

In the rare event that TrueLearning needs to cancel a course:

  • You will be notified via email at least 7 days before the scheduled start date (or immediately for unforeseen circumstances)
  • You will automatically receive a full refund of the course fee
  • Alternatively, you may choose to transfer to another available course
  • Refunds for cancelled courses will be processed within 5-7 business days

10. Subscription Cancellations

For monthly or annual subscription plans:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • No refunds will be provided for partial months or unused portions of subscription periods
  • Access to subscription content will continue until the end of the paid period
  • You may reactivate your subscription at any time

11. Promotional Offers and Discounts

For courses purchased using promotional codes or during special sales:

  • Standard refund policies apply unless otherwise stated in the promotion terms
  • Refunds will be issued for the amount actually paid, not the original price
  • Some promotional offers may have modified refund terms which will be clearly stated at the time of purchase
  • Gift vouchers and promotional credits are generally non-refundable

12. Refund Abuse

TrueLearning reserves the right to refuse refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Excessive refund requests from the same user
  • Completing significant portions of a course before requesting a refund
  • Downloading all course materials before requesting a refund
  • Violating our Terms of Service

Users found abusing the refund policy may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

13. Changes to Refund Policy

TrueLearning reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Refund Policy.
